TAAA Grassroots: TAAA Submitted Comments to EPA on Its Drift Reduction Technology Proposal
TAAA submitted public comments to the EPA on its recent information collection request (ICR) regarding drift reduction technologies (DRTs). According to EPA, once the ICR is approved, the voluntary DRT program will provide incentives to the agricultural sector (industry and pesticide applicators) to manufacture, market and use spray application technologies/equipment that have been verified to significantly reduce pesticide spray drift. One of the incentives mentioned is mitigating buffer sizes for applicators using verified DRTs. TAAA’s comments addressing its concerns can be found here. TAAA Grassroots: TAAA Submitted Comments to the EPA on its Proposed Worker Protection Standard on August 18 TAAA drafted comments on the proposal outlining concerns it has with the many unnecessary and burdensome provisions EPA has proposed.
